Presrite is definitely not your typical "heat-it-and-beat-it forge shop". We have expertise that others simply can't offer. Through the use of our 2D and 3D finite element-based (FEM) forging simulation software, we are capable of predicting metal flow, loads and defects with astonishing precision. These sophisticated analysis capabilities allow us to minimize costly and time consuming forging trials.

Presrite's Bessemer Division is the premier near-net forged tooth gear manufacturing facility in the world. Our dedicated, gear facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The gears we produce typically range from .004" to .060" stock allowance on the gear flanks.

Near-net gears don"t have to cost you extra time and money. Parts that were previously made by hobbing are now being economically hot-forged to net and near-net shape at Presrite.
